NounandnumberSeptember 7, 2024Wonderful Location, Great Food, Very Relaxing A wonderful, peaceful, location on the beach, ideal for relaxing strolls and watching the tide. There is also access to activities close by, such as kite surfing. Very well maintained and the rooms each have a private veranda for relaxing, along with sunbeds by the infinity pool overlooking the beach. The food is exceptional and well priced, including Swahili dishes along with international food. The friendly staff made the stay extra special and thank you to the manager and staff for the extra effort to make our holiday memorable. We had a wonderful time at this hotel and would recommend it to anybody.Hans WJuly 1, 2024Para, para, paradise... The expression 'Hidden Gem' was made for this place. Chris Martin would call it Para, para, paradise... A small scale resort with a very authentic feel at the quiet beach between Paje en Jambiani (so not many people trying to sell you cashews, massages, excursion etc). Rachel and her staff go out of their way to give you the pole pole (Swahili for slowly, slowly) time of your life. The bar/restaurant is so layed back with great food (from fresh breakfast to dinner) and a stunning ocean view. The fresh tuna that came in one day, was the icing on the cake! Cooks, Anthony, Kazeem, Mamood and the rest, you are great! The infinity-pool was absolutely magic! The fact that Paje and Jambiani are roughly a 30 minute walk should be seen as an additional plus. The walk over the tropical beach is magic. And most of the time you don't make it to Paje or Jambiani. To many nice beach restaurants and bars already halfway. Rachel and her staff are very helpfull in finding excursion to your liking. For me as a sailor, sailing to the reef with the local fishermen in the traditional Dhow was an unforgetattable experience. ASANTE SANA!Jay FMarch 18, 2024Beautiful, relaxed, friendly, accommodating Jaribu is a very relaxing, peaceful beach hotel--not luxurious, but charming. The grounds are spacious, open, green, harmonious, and truly beautiful; they are well cared for but with a natural feel. The buildings are of natural, traditional materials, basic but comfortable. We had a good bed in our deluxe cottage. The restaurant, too, is open, harmonious and relaxing--a very nice place for a meal or a drink. The pool is wonderful., All of the staff--the ones at the restaurant/bar, the cleaning staff, the cooks, the massage therapist, the maintenance men, and the security guards--were kind, thoughtful, helpful, eager, friendly, accommodating, and unhurried. My wife had a minor injury while were there and the staff really went out of their way for her. And Rachel, the owner/manager, went far beyond what one would expect; she was especially helpful in many ways, and was always concerned with our needs, friendly, and pleasant. I needed internet access for my work, and we happened to be there at a time when there was some work on the electric grid in the area, so there were some disruptions; the hotel has a generator for such eventualities, but beyond that, Rachel pulled out all the stops to make sure I could get online. Paje and Jambiani short taxi rides away, and both have good restaurants and interesting shops. The hotel is well connected with good, dependable taxi drivers.Cocomimi2020September 4, 2023Paradise Found: A Blissful Retreat at Jaribu Beach Hotel I had the most wonderful stay at the Jaribu Beach Hotel! The friendliness of the staff, from the owners to the restaurant team and even the lovely housekeeping staff, made me feel like I was among friends. The serene location provided the perfect escape for relaxation, and it was a quick, leisurely walk on the beautiful beach to the lively town of Paje. This place truly is an oasis of tranquility with delicious food to top it off. Highly recommended for a peaceful and enjoyable getaway! Thank you very much, for making my time here truly unforgettable!MHTAugust 29, 2023Perfect Amazing time here. The best hotel we experienced in Zanzibar with a very professional team. Possibility to rent a car / bike / scooter directly at the reception (only 5$/days for bikes). We will definitively come back there. CongratsAnna LJuly 8, 2023Excellent hotel This is a lovely hotel. My family and I have just spent a week there and we loved every minute of it. Antony, Jackson, Mamood and Kassim looked after us so well - nothing was too much trouble. They were kind and friendly. The food in the restaurant was fantastic and very reasonable. We had a bungalow with an ocean view which was very comfortable and stylish. The pool and gardens are beautiful and it was very relaxing to hang out there and sunbathe. I highly recommend this hotel.Thomas MeierFebruary 16, 2023Cosy - calm & cute Karibu sana - welcome to this place - thats what we felt like, even arriving in the middle of the night. 🌟🌟🌟 Everybody beginning with the driver, the night guard, gate keeper, house keeper, cook and bar/restaurant and of course Mme Rachel so warm and attentiv personalities. The furniture natural, local, according to pictures. Every peace unique, so you could choose your happy chair. 😉 A quiet place, walking distance to Paje, depending on the tide and day or night time more or less advenurous. Breakfast great, everyday some little new things, we appreciated that. Please, real spicy - just ask for it. Lots of fun with the staffmembers chatting at the table, sharing dreams or relaxing with a masage, sharing visions. So, we just enjoyed - and recommend this beautiful place. 🌟🌟🌟Sherpa68January 13, 2023My Happy Place We had the best time at Jaribu Beach Hotel….absolutely love it there.
